The exquisite vintage signed Schiaparelli 4 strand faux pearl opera necklace circa 1940's. It has sparkling ruby red glass cabochons and dozens of prongset auroura borealis chatons. All stones are bright and present. There are 4 cabochons in front and 6 in back with a secure slide closure. It is set in high quality gold-plate. There is some minor wear on inside of closure but not visible when wearing. The faux pearls are in perfect condition with the shortest strand at 16" and the longest at 20". This stunning and rare necklace lies perfectly on the neck and is in excellent condition.
