A stunning vintage Pennino pin with sparkling Austrian rhinestones circa 1940's. It is 3" high x 2.5" wide. Pennino was known for their beautiful designs using connected metals and silver in their pieces. This pin looks more like fine jewelry than costume, the craftsmanship is exquisite. There are 10 gorgeous sapphire oval rhinestones, dozens of clear & red rhinestones and red cabochons. All stones are prongset. It is stamped "Pennino Sterling" in back and the pin works perfectly. The photos show scratches on gold-plate because of lighting, there are absolutely no scratches or marks visible to the naked eye…. the vermeil is just gorgeous and all rhinestones are bright and present. This fabulous pin is in pristine condition.
