A beautiful rare vintage Boucher Parisina ballerina pin with a prongset ruby red rhinestone center set in gold-plate circa 1940's. It is 3-1/8" high x 2.5" wide. It is signed "Mexico", this is where Boucher worked in the 1940's. There is some patina darkness around the rhinestone but barely visible to the naked eye, also some on the back. The overall look of the pin is not effected. This iconic pin is usually vermeil (sterling silver dipped in gold-plate) but it is not stamped so it could be metal in gold-plate. The front is in excellent condition and the rhinestone is pristine with no scratches or chips.
