A new and magnificent signed amethyst, pearl and crystal Maharajah necklace/pin in classic gunmetal from Larry Vrba. The necklace is 23" long, the exquisite Maharajah is 6-1/2" long x 4-1/2" at widest point. It has a gorgeous carved amber face wearing a turban of dozens of crystals, pearls and a carved purple glass stone. The body has a huge oval glass amethyst in center surrounded by more stones and pearls. At bottom are 3 carved purple glass pieces surrounded by stones and pearls. The necklace has 5 strands of baroque glass pearls, purple glass beads and crystal rondelles. The closure in back has 2 crystal studded bars with a secure shepherds hook and a 2-1/2" extension made of pearls for adjustable length. The earrings are 1-1/2" around with large purple glass centers and sparkling crystal surrounding stones. The clips in back are tight and secure. All pearls are glass pearls and all stones are prongset. The Maharajah can be removed from the necklace and worn as a pin. The pin closure is also very secure. There is a small black spot in the amber on the face that is extremely minor. This showstopping piece is in pristine condition.
